I’m sitting here
Alone again tonight
My old guitar
Is my only friend
As I try to forget about you

I play notes
Trying to find the right chord
And the right words
So I can make a song
But I don’t have
A rhyme or rhythm
But I won’t stop
Until I write a
Song about you
