"Backpack, gimme another beer!" --Nate Bell

He doesn’t know how much
How much he needs Him
How much he sees Him
Instead he keeps living his life
As if there is no God at all

But there is a God that loves him
A God that needs him, wants him
A God that breaks for him, waits for him
There is a God that loves him

He still doesn’t know how much
How much he craves Him
How much he prays to Him
Instead he keeps walking his life
As if God isn’t there

But there is a God that loves him
A God that needs him, wants him
A God that breaks for him, waits for him
There is a God that loves him

All his time at church
All his time at home
All his times with God
Even though he didn’t know that…

There is a God that loves him
A God that needs him, wants him
A God that breaks for him, waits for him
There is a God that loves him

You may write me down in history with your bitter, twisted ties. You may trod me in the very dirt, but still, like dirt, I rise. ~Still I Rise, Maya Angelou

I'm not really that religious, but I loved the poem! Espeacially how you kept repeating that one stanza. Could you check out some of my work please? Thanks! :-)

This is such a Beautiful Poem :). I love it <3 I like how the message of hope is shown through it and how it has that sing-song feeling.

It would of been cool if you wrote about how God is in his life. Like how he is giving him strength in something and the guy hasn't noticed- more examples. (Please don't take offense in my opinions lol)

I'd really really appreciate, that if you have time, you can check ou at least one of my poems. I'd love the feedback! Thankyou! :D
