Down The Street
So, I’ve been away for a while
To tell the truth, I thought I was doing well
Then I saw y’all and now how I feel
 I can’t really tell

 It’s only down the street
 But we hardly ever meet
 It’s only a couple feet
But seeing y’all is so sweet

 Y’all seem like strangers
 But I sense no dangers
We’re close as the Army Rangers

 It’s only down the street
 But we hardly ever meet
 It’s only a couple feet
But seeing y’all is so sweet

 It’s only been two weeks
 The time slowly sneaks
 No water in the creeks
 The oil slightly leaks

Each day I pray for strength
 And I always get some
But now I fear it’s down to none
Cause I feel I’m missing all the fun

 It’s only down the street
 But we hardly ever meet
 It’s only a couple feet
But seeing y’all is so sweet
