everything to me
A child running wild and a horse back rider
To his mama he’s a baby to his a dad he’s a growing man
He’s goofy and he laughs at just about anything
But he’s everything to me
Far from being perfect closer to being not
May trip up and end up falling
But I love him a whole lot
Sitting by the fire when the day is done
All I feel is warmth and love
He is my gift from heaven above
Careful in decisions always full of whit
His eyes are bright and sunny
When he’s mad he throws no fit
I don’t know if he knows how much he means to me
he doesn’t need to be perfect to the world
Because he’s the world to me
A pair of cowboy boots and white tee shirts
Running through the yard
He isn’t afraid of dirt
He’s a smile and a laugh when I need a pickup
He’s the only thing I dreams of when my dreams are perfect
He’s a shoulder when I’m crying
He’s safe and strong arms
When it’s not all right he helps me through harm
I don’t know if he knows how much he means to me
How he doesn’t need to be perfect to the world
Because he’s the world to me
Oh the world to me uhoh
A child running wild and a horse back rider
