If Our World Were To Tumble and Crumble
If our world were to tumble and crumble,
our two slivers of our Earth would remain.
Every time I see your eyes I stumble.
Your immaculate smile makes me sane.
I wish to jump through the oceans of black,
over the sea breaking 'part me and you.
Though I reach out an arm, fear draws me back.
I have not yet lept for fear of tears blue.
I have, however, inched forward slightly;
moving from straight silence to whispers,
attempting to make my words dance lightly.
No one knows my goals, so no resisters.
If our world were to tumble and crumble,
my heart would forever struggle, tumble.

I wrote this one night as I was thinking about the guy I like. He is perfect in literally every way. If the world were to crash down around you, you might be okay if you were with the one you adore. Gavin, if by some miracle you see this, this poem is for you.
