Life: It goes on.
(robert frost)

I am going back where my roots are –
To the grasses green, to the past far.
The familiar scapes call me now;
The olden days wave to me;
The tree's smile, I see in each bough
And the dance of the ivy.

I am going back where my roots are –
To the murky pond, to the altar,
To the age-old rail track that is lain
By the field gold tassels fill.
The soil's cologne, after a rain
Only for me, lingers still

I am going back where my roots are.
'cause, I must go now down these stairs.

I am a 10th grader from India. Oftentimes I like to take up the pen, along with my diary, and write a line or two. I love reading and writing poems. Really, too much! That's all of me... 😊
