The Bat's Inner Struggles

I feel as if I cannot fail
I wont give in to fear inside
You know that I will never bail
You think in fear I will abide
I’ll never show my true colors
I find comfort within the night
Especially to the others
And I am not afraid of light
I wish that my emotions would
Reach you in this dark wretched place
I know that if I only could
I wouldn’t be scared of his face
