It's ironic, I think, the nature entailed,
The wrath endowed by only your presence;
Many jovial youth too soon curtailed,
Under reign of your dubious essence;

But yours is a reign so oft desired,
While kingdoms of yore fell slain by mankind;
Sown too deep are the delusions you've sired,
And too deep the unseemly woes we find;

Why then, I wonder, is your wrath incurred?
And from which veneer is your truth revealed?
For whose sake are many a youth interred?
And a demagogue so fondly revered?

Well perhaps our fondness for irony,
Has given life to you and you to me.

Very professional. I admire this sonnet.

Real cool vocab, and the last two lines: EPIC!
