Anguish

You tug my heart,
you yank my soul,
the hatred grows,
my life you stole,
I trust no more,
For this you've done,
I've lost all love
and now i run,
from open arms
I've never seen,
from your disease
with no vaccine,
there is no hope
for us inside,
there's no one else
to be my guide,
I am detached,
my path unknown,
your mind games which
I have outgrown,
for I have given
all my strength,
and I have reached
pat life's length,
I walk alone,
never followed,
with no trust,
my heart is hollowed.

The author's comments:
I was inspired to write this piece while going through a very rough time in my life. A lot of stress to do my best and take control of my life as well as my families. But the loss of love and trust through this time was truly the inspiration.

I think it is good. I would suggest breaking it into verses just because its kind of like a run on. Do understand that I am not an english teacher when I say this though, so if its your style to write like this, by all means do so.
