Sitting here, pondering why I'm in this cell,

Wishing my accusers would take a train to hell,

I'm innocent I tell you, I did not comit this crime,

But locked up in this concrete box i can feel the waste of time,

It builds up all around me, a pressure in the air,

I'm in this cell because I'm black which isn't remotley fair,

One day when liberation comes for all the black around,

I know in my heart that the world will be more sound
