School Jungle
I walk through the crowded, smelly hallways,
Bumped on both sides, I walk to my classroom.
Freshmen block the door, stupid as always—
Pressed in my chair, talking leads to my doom.
People still talking, grades just start falling,
People’s ignorance, grades are derailing.
The school bell rings, my next class is calling,
Sixth period is far, late equals failing.
Those are the bad, but here’s the really good,
My friends are the best, my lunch always fun.
Seeing them everyday brings up my mood,
And when I get home, I don’t text just one.
School is a jungle filled with good and bad,
And when I am done, I won’t be just glad.
