NEXT YEAR
The end of this year seems to come so slow.
I just cannot state my feelings for you.
So please do not think my answer is ‘no’,
For I love you so and you love me too.
I want to shout it with all of my strength,
Yet rules imprison what we are feeling.
Here in our secret place my knees are bent,
Wishing that what you feel is not a fling.

So we have to wait until it is right,
For our love to just stop being hidden,
So please, behind temptations, see the light.
If you cannot wait until this year ends,
I have to treat you as one of my friends...
