A trillion and one stars shine so bright
Always right there at the end of the day
Sparkling and twinkling-what a sight!
Gazing up at them, just wishing to stay

Is this where the people go when they die?
If so, why wear black and heavily cry?

Thank you so much! I really like your work also...especially 'In dreams I dream.' I really liked the line " And the tears too often too soon Are kissed good night by the opal moon"
You are also a great writer.

When asked about race...

"Well, when I went to the bathroom I was Russian, and when I came out I was Finnish."

or, alternatively:

"Irish I could tell you."

I like how you portrayed wonderment of the world. I can imagine a small child gazing up at the sky in simple awe. It brought back memories of me looking at the night sky. At the end when you compared the twinkling stars to tears and black to mourning, I thought it was really powerful. It put a mood on the poem that made it special at the end. It really makes you think.

Five star.
