Father
For those who know you, must love you as well
Curious I am, for I know nothing
Too much trouble and hurt to know something
Silence surrounding there's nothing to tell
When my father decided to set sail
All along I could see the ship coming
Not knowing to face it or start running
Unable to succeed, destined to fail
Swallowed like grains of dirt into the sea
Disturbed like waters struck by solid rock
Creating stressed ripples, tension you caused
Blown away like leaves and pine from its tree
My bleak emotions carried beyond dock
Without understanding I'm forced to pause
