Have my own eyes deceived me?
This woman’s beauty is so surreal,
Aphrodite is but a hag compared to the woman I see.
It is hard to fathom the love for her that I feel.
Praise God, for he has done great!
Her beauty is one that no man can deny.
I pray that our meeting is part of our fate.
Her beauty is so great, it is even seen by the blind eye.
Mona Lisa, Lady Liberty, such art hides in shame.
This masterpiece of the Lord surpasses all others.
All the works of man fall before this dame.
Behold this woman, marvel in her beauty my brothers!
Even nature’s great wonders admit defeat,
To the woman whom I shall one day meet.

This is obviously about a beautiful girl. I am not the best looking guy on the planet, and so I rely on my literary skills to gain her intrest and show my feelings towards her.

Well... let us hope she has more qualitys than kindness and beauty. Not that I consider beauty a quality.

I will say that I've had my share of such women. They hurt me in ways that words cannot describe. But I've tried my best to be faithful to God, and I know he will one day bring me a beautiful woman who is as beautiful as she is kind. That woman, whoever she may be, is who this poem is about.

Well...that's intirely a matter of opinoin. But it's heart and  caricture that count. Not beauty. A lot of wemon are pretty on the outside and yet are dark at heart. Not saying that's restricted to wemon. For as one,I know that this works in more than one direction.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't all of the women God created beautiful beyond all description?

Some truths best left unspoken.

Pethetic and disgusting! Beauty is not suposed to be a basis fore love.

this is really sweet. i was also reading a few other poems you had written, & i like the spiritual, religiousness that is in all your poems. alot of your poetry is very bible-sounding, which is different from alot of the poetry on this site, but a good different :)
