Finnigan
Do you remember the day you came home?
With your short blonde hair and your big brown eyes
It's so hard to believe that you are now gone
But still for your death I have yet to cry.
You were my favorite, best dog ever was
Still you were taken when you were so young
Just four years of age when you passed away.
I loved you much more than pets from before
You were the smartest, the cutest and kindest
Of all of the canines that I've ever known.
But all that is left are the memories here
Of running and playing with you for those years.
I knew you were sick, I knew you would die
But when the time came no chance for goodbye.
