The Past
Cowboys, Indians, and folks of this kind.
Nowadays are hard to find.
They used to be plentiful,
There was no doubt,
If you needed help,
they'd hold a hand out.
You could make a deal with just a handshake,
but nowadays it takes a lawyer to make.
The days of old are gone for good,
And things wont be the way they should.
I miss those days,
I really do.
I wish they were the same for me and you.
Up on their horse and away they would ride.
Most of this breed has already died.
It'll never be like it was in the past,
'cus today things move way to fast.
