Favorite Quote:
Do not let your fire go out, spark by irreplaceable spark, in the hopeless swamps of the approximate, the not-quite, the not-yet, the not-at-all. Do not let the hero in your soul perish, in lonely frustration for the life you deserved, but have never been able to reach. Check your road and the nature of your battle. The world you desire can be won. It exists. It is real. It is possible. It is yours.

The fragile petals, cold with winter’s bite
are warmed by sunshine, bright and radiant.
The spring has come accompanied by light
and leaves the blossoms with a colored tint.

Soft petals tinged with pink and orange; mild.
In bloom, the flowers open; drink in sun.
Endemic flora, plants are growing wild.
Maturing fast, across the wall they run.

A fragrance sweet and calming wafts about,
relaxing nervous feelings, stress, and strain.
The stillness calms my mind and makes a route
around the fowl waste torturing my brain.

The blossoms thrive in beauty, soft and sweet;
they’re filled with grace – conversion now complete.

Written during the spring when plum blossoms were in full bloom for the only time during the year, I was inspired to write on their beauty
