I Wait
My father will be here to take me home.
When the sun is ready to set.
Thus far I’ve filled up half this tome.
And in his ocean I am wet,
With the caress of his waves,
Which carry me there.
His fierce love through which saves,
And my sins he lays bare.
I wait for my father to pick me up.
When my work on Earth is finished.
That I may sip from heavens Cup,
And taste wine that is so delicious.
I wait through the trials he sets to me.
I wait for Jesus to set me free.
