There is a string,
a string that weaves,
weaves through you and me.

that can bring joy to your eyes
when everyone else brings tears.

There is a string, my child,
woven in translucent rainbow colors
and called the string of laughter.

There is a string one can create,
the endless yarn to heal the stitches,
with a piece of the laughing string.

There is a string
that ties up this world
in all its war and strife.

That universal string,
believe it or not, may start with you alone.
