The Wind
The spring breeze feels cool,
As the high sun beats down.
The one who hates breezes is a fool,
And to the person I shall frown.
The wind makes the trees sway,
As the pure white clouds hang high in the sky.
Kids running around every which way,
A perfect day for birds to fly.
People sitting outside with the breeze calm,
The spring day smelling fresher than ever.
Feeling through the grass with my palm,
Feeling more chill right now than ever.
But the strong winds that make breezes seem mild,
Are like the thoughts in my head, swirling and wild.
