Dancing, jumping, gliding, whistling, playing
Surrounded by the freshness of leaves
The bright and glowing sun’s warmth one receives
The ocean’s waves, from side to side, swaying
Like a goddess descending from above
She strode towards me blinding light follows
Her golden waves which sire heavenly glow
Her lustrous smile, eyes, face, taught me to love.
Today I sit alone upon my porch,
Though love has eluded me I stand tall,
Reminiscing until death’s final call,
Is not why I carry life’s blazing torch;
Though I seem natural, I start to freeze
I search for true love, like the lonesome breeze.

Inspiration came from a fleeting love that I once had.
