Favorite Quote:
My ideas usually come not at my desk writing but in the midst of living.

This month, this day, this hour, this grace, this place,
Before our feet, you rest eternally.
Fought to seek freedom for the human race,
Loved and were loved, now you lie in memory.

'Fore armistice was signed, you've been long dead,
Which destroyed the hopes of your family.
By fire you were scorched, blood from you shed;
No one can discern your identity.

Yet Legacy lets sacrifice live on,
As peace and freedom shine throughout the land.
The faults of the past, must not be passed on,
Lest all is wasted from your works of hand.

Poppies mark our hearts, we stand in solemn tone,
Bowing before the Tomb of the Unknowns.
