The Theory of Application
Ensnaring feelings greatly hid,
i looked around and caught her glare.
Or was it just a simple stare
despite it looking like it did?
It is myself that i forbid
in thinking that she doesn’t care.

her looking like she wanted off the grid.

Yet that was how it came across.
It might have been a facial cue
but i was at a loss.
All that social stuff i thought i knew
