Meaning of Life
Sometimes I wonder in very deep thought
What is life’s meaning? I must have forgot
In my childhood years, I didn’t have cares
Running and playing and standing on chairs
Be happy, sing songs, dance ‘round in the rain
Enjoy life as it is, never the same
‘Cause life happens quick, or so I’ve been told
Ten years in youth is like one year in old
Shed tears when you may, laugh when time is right
Put effort into days, and sleep at night
Live like you are breathing your final breaths
Give, try not to take, and save best for last
But life doesn’t have guidelines, so forget
Everything and anything I just said.
