I reside in the dark under the stars
They're the only light to see my scars
A tear has fallen
A night has gone silent

I reflect on my soul to see a bloodied face
Not in my mind or the world for me is a safe place
A tear has fallen
A night has gone silent

Being in the cold I see my breath
I feel an embrace, I feel the hands of Death
A tear has fallen
A night has gone silent

My wings are clipped, I cannot fly
Thus I have to whisper to you goodbye
A tear has fallen
A night has gone silent

Now that all, but memories are gone
And this game of life has come undone
A tear has fallen
A night has gone silent

These emotions and thoughts were inevitable
I just hope my path choices are forgivable
A tear has fallen
A night has gone silent

But all has broken, nothing can mend
Now here we are, we've reached the end
A tear has fallen
A night has gone silent

The last tear has fallen
The last night has gone silent.

Amazing!! I like the detail use it made me dive into the poem and feel every single word. Though anyway I could've relate to this even without the detail cuz I have already been through this. I liked it a lot and you surely should cary on and keep writing. This defenitly deserves a 5 star rating :D
