Sonnet 238 (Romeo, Oh Romeo)
Romeo, oh Romeo, where fore art thou Romeo?
Is he in the lake? In a tree?
By a city or under the snow?
I'll tell you-it doesn't matter to me!
Oh, what's in a name?
Always asked the same question, aimed like a blow,
(And I'll tell you-my mother's to blame!)
"Oh, Juliette? My, my-where's Romeo?"
OH MY GOSH PLEASE SHUT UP.
Stop acting like I need a boy!
I'm a girl, so of course I'll just drool over him like a droopy-eyed pup.
You're just sticking me with one, like I'm a toy.
Please, just let me be.
I'm a girl, and I can live without love.
I can survive without a Romeo, alone and free.
Don't stick me in your stereotypical glove.
I am perfectly happy, just as me.

My name is Juliette, and even though it's not spelled like Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet, people just love to ask "where's romeo?" and it's always driven me crazy.
I've always felt like that's people finding an excuse to stick me in a relationship, and I needed a way to tell them-please stop!!!
