African American's in a White Neighbourhood
Walking past the hanging people on my way back home
Seeing a black man swaying back and forth in the cold night air
Along the lit streets that small children roam
The whites showing no remorse or care
They wanted to give the world something to see
The whites only wanted to protect themselves
It’d be less work to just throw them out at sea
Whites with power used the vulnerable ones as their lesser selves
Hanging there all alone in the darkness
Sleeping well in their own beds
The blacks were filled with nothing but fear and weakness
The whites at home with their families resting their heads
Sad how the whites get off unaffected
Worse that the blacks are fear infected
