When i wake up in a fog
I just get ready and keep going
Even when my body wants to return to bed to sleep like a log
I know soon my coffee will be flowing
I’m always on my way
To the Cafe drive through
Every morning of every day
Getting my cup of brew
My choice of coffee, cold or hot
3.30 is the price that I pay
2 big espresso shots
Caffeine definitely energizes my day
Without this magic dose
I could not do the most
But now I face the day,
taking on anything that may come my way
