I MISS YOU
I miss the way we talked our days away
“Good morn to you”, your voice so deep and smooth
Lying in bed, rolling around in play
Your heart keeps on beating, I cannot move
My knight in shining armor, that was you
Until my castle walls came tumbling down
A damsel in distress, I sought it through
I try to talk but words only do drown
Instead, I write until this pen does yell
Because you never listen anymore
Let out a laugh, remind me you are well
“I will love you forever” you had swore
I try not to miss you when passing by
Because I know that soon we will retry
