Your Demons Are Under Your Bed, Mine Are In My Head
The thin white walls barely contained my screams
I would scream for hours, nobody heard me
I wasn't loud enough so it seems
Since it's been days now i see
I only had short amounts of time
Looking to the floors at the muddy water
Until my Demons scream in rhyme
But can't see that I'm someone's daughter
My throat hurts, although my screams aren't physical
But this pain is stuck in my throat
But for some people it's mystical
Because in my mind I've cried a moat
The thin white walls are not easy to penetrate
Maybe I should stop screaming and face my fate
