Her Heart's Enemy
As she sits and waits with a mind so vast.
There’s one voice still lurking inside her head
But not knowing just how long it can last
Her heart can decide when it will grow dead
Once when love drifts from a forgiving heart
It leaves a wound as deep as an abyss
If she allows emotions to depart
Perhaps the soul of love would not be missed
Love can be something every soul longs for
At times she wants that tender sweet feeling
To wrap those moments from an open door
And to cure sorrow with gentle healing
But she remains to float in pain’s ocean
Because he left her with dark emotion
