Different Types of Days
In a lifetime, one can have many days
That fall in between good and not so good.
Some days make you feel a number of ways,
And some drift away, with the wind and wood.
Good days are adventures without an end,
Finding new places and feeling okay.
Bad days are breaking pacts with a good friend,
And feeling your happiness ebb away.
The days in between are the ones we miss
When we’re swept in the hurricane of life.
Those days doing nothing in complete bliss,
Little moments where you forget your strife.
As you grow old, these days are forgotten,
But I live in those days, they cloak me like cotton.
