Anne Frank Huis by Andrew Motion
This is a marvelous poem about a young Jew girl who lived in hiding during Hitler's rule.
In the poem,the writer expresses his feelings for Anne, after having visited her hiding place which is now, a museum that displays all her interests as a teenager - pictures of actors,fashion,the diary she had written (which has been published), and so on just like any other teenager.
Andrew has been successful in informing Anne's sufferings and inspiring its readers to go find that diary of hers from somewhere...
