Everything Everything

I found Everything Everything by Nicola Yoon to be a charming teen romance book. Although I would definitely classify it as romance, there is no explicit content as it is a young adult book and also has a lot of serious plotlines including the main characters disease where she is essentially allergic to the outside world. The book follows the main character as she struggles with feelings for the boy next door when she can't even step outside her house. If you appreciate some cheesy teen romance, this is the book for you. I could not stop reading at some points and it was a super fast read. If sappy, cheesy teen novels aren't for you, you may not want to pick this one up.

The movie for this book that came out recently was no match for the book. The slower moving parts of the blooming relationships and quirky drawings featured in the book were not done very well in a 2-hour movie. If you hated the movie, you still may really enjoy the book. Personally, I loved the book but hated the movie because it made the main characters look so over dramatic and ignorant.

Overall rating:

Book= 7/10.  Movie= 3/10.
