In this sequel, a boy named Crispin and his friend Bear try to find freedom anywhere they can. While running away from a brotherhood who are trying to kill them, Bear gets injured and it is up to Crispin to make the decision what to do next.

Crispin At the Edge of the World is the second book of Crispin the Cross of Lead. It is an adventure story that will not make you want to put the book down. This is probably one of Avi's finest work and this book is open to anyone who likes an adventure, suspense, and drama. I think this is Avi's finest work because in this story the characters change throughout the story.
