Amulet:The Cloud Searchers
In the book Amulet: The Cloud Searchers by Kazu Kibuishi the genre of the story is fantasy graphic novel. I know this because it shows animals that can talk and weird zombie - like elf villains. The topic of the story is that they are trying to save the city of Alledia. I think you should read this book because as they go on their journey and discover new things each day.
In the story the main characters are these two kids named Emily and her brother Navin. These characters are adventurous and care a lot for their mom and friends. In the beginning they start working with the bad elf guys named Trellis and Luger and then they go into the town. While in town, they set off to find a pilot to guide them to the Storm of Golbez. Emily and Navin are hoping to find Cielis. This book is worth reading because the storyline is interesting and the characters are unique
The author uses a Person vs. Supernatural conflict. When Emily has a nightmare, the voice inside the Amulet calls her and shows her the future. It asks her to make a decision on whether to go back home or to stay and help Alledia. This is person vs. supernatural because you usually can’t talk to Amulets and something that pops out of them.
You should read this book because it is super interesting. I could not put down the book when I was reading it. All of the characters are risk takers. They are adventurous and always up for a challenge. Go read it!!!!!!
