Friday Nights
Friday Nights
This story was great, I liked the way the writer expressed the sounds, sights, and feelings on the football field. Joey Knight expressed the thoughts that flash through his mind and describes the actions of the play and what he does. How he explains how he drops his shoulder into the defender’s chest and moves by him. I like how he said that he goes into an all out sprint and keeps driving his legs and then finally sacks the quarterback. Finally, he explains the thoughts that go through his mind after the play and when he goes back to the huddle. I think that Joey Knight really explained the thoughts and feelings that a football player feels while on the field. I know because I am a football player.
