During the summer, I read the book, The Strange Case of Origami Yoda, which was written by Tom Angleberger. This is a great realistic fiction novel that takes place in the 6th grade of the McQuarrie Middle School. Dwight, one of the main characters, created an origami Yoda due to his passion in Star Wars. He says it has mystical powers that Yoda, in Star Wars had. But Harvey, his popular friend, has doubts because it seems like Dwight is only talking with a Yoda voice and giving his opinion on people’s problems. Tommy, Dwight’s other friend, believes that Yoda is real and works. But he doesn’t know to trust Yoda all the way. He likes this girls Sara, and asks Dwight’s origami Yoda for advice. Will Dwight’s origami yoda be helpful once more, or will it lead to its downfall? Will Timmy continue to be friends with Dwight, or will it break it apart? Read the book, The Strange Case of Origami Yoda to find out.

I think this a great book and really relates to the weird things that we do here in middle school. If you didn’t already, read this great book. It really hooks you in and I know you will like this book just as much as I did. Throughout this book, it has taught me to respect my friends and they will be there for you. I think you I’ll also get this message and I hope you will take it in.
Tom Angleberger is a great author and also written other books like, Darth Paper Strikes Back, The Secret of the Fortune Wookiee, and The Surprise Attack of Jabba the Puppet. So please, get and read these books to find out, once and for all, if the origami that Dwight makes is real, or fake. They are all great and easy reads. They won’t disappoint.
