I just finished The Fault in Our Stars?. I don't know what to say, and it is almost at a point where my heart implores me to reread, and stop at the scene in Amsterdam where they are in bed, if only so Gus may be resurrected in my mind. I do not know if that was the true point behind The Fault in Our Stars, to take a story with a predictable ending and twist said ending, but it did that. The experiences that Hazel goes through approaching death are, I can unfortunately say from experience of my own (not cancer) that brought me into the same space of limbo where death becomes and excepted outcome of the scenario you are in, correct, and I do not know how John Green so accurately portrayed it, but he did a fantastic job.
