The House on Mango Street by Sandra Cisneros
This book is about a girl named Esperanza who wants to move away from her house on the Mango Street. People make fun of her for the meaning of her name. Personally, I don’t like this book because it isn’t interesting and it is very confusing. A girl wanting to move out of her house is not very cool to me. It takes place in poor Latino neighborhood of Chicago. She wants to move out because it is a poor place and she thinks its a bad environment. In my opinion, I don’t recommend this book to anyone.
