Ghost in the Shell
Ghost in the Shell is a movie based off of a futuristic world in the near future. Major is the first of her species and she is essentially a cyborg with a human brain. Her talent is used to stop the world's most dangerous criminals. However, terrorism reaches a new level and Major needs to use everything she has to stop it. But while trying to stop the terrorist, she learns that she only knows lies about her past. Major was told that her life was saved, but she soon learns that it was actually stolen. Major goes out on a mission to discover her past and who she really is while killing anyone and everyone that did this to her.
The visual effects are stumendous and incredible. Scarlett Johnasson is an excellent actress, but the plot of the movie is just not that good. There are a few well done, high-paced, suspense-filled action scenes, but aside from that the movie just does not have that much to offer.
