Halo Reach is a new video game that released just this past week. It was predicted to be the best selling game of the year. And it lived up to that high standard, between the well designed levels, the amazing soundtrack and the phenomenal visuals this game is among the top breed in gaming history. The campaign places you at the door step of a dieing planet. You play the role of ‘rookie’ the newest member of noble six. Just because
You are the main protagonist of the story doesn’t mean your going to be fighting alone. You are noble SIX for a reason. While they’re one unit the five other characters do have personalities. For example your closest friend in the fight is Emile the war hardened tough guy who refuses to let anything put him down. It’s characters like this that make bungie so successful, because of these characters bungie always develops a compelling story line. Even though right from the start you know earth is doomed the brave noble six try to defeat incredible odds. Unlike many other games even though you know the end is going to dark and gloomy you keep playing thinking that you can make a difference, but deep down you know the end is inevitable. Through are well thought out grading system which considers the following: playability, replay value, controls, visuals, and soundtrack
This game receives an 9/10 the game is a great or an instant classic for any halo fan but if your new to the halo universe you might seem a bit lost. Even so we are saddened to a gaming monopoly finally come to a close.
