Today was the day, I've waited my entire life for this. 3 years of disappointment and failure despite the individual accolades. This year's different though, at least I hope so. I've got all day before my game so why don't I vent for a bit. Baseball's a difficult sport, and things get even worse when you get discriminated because of your colour. Well...I guess when they can't beat you, they resort to insults. I've gotten used to it though, it's good to have thick skin and the s*** that comes out of their mouth is hilarious sometimes...Gotta give it to them for their originality though. Baseball's such a global sport, it makes me so confused as to why racism exists. I'm pretty sure half the population of MLB players aren't white. It's even worse in the NBA...75% of the NBA is African American! They're the majority and they still get discriminated! I don't get it sometimes, how in the 21st century, people can still have racist and prejudiced thoughts. Regardless of how far we progress with all of our innovations and inventions, we still have the desire to discriminate others for something they can't control. I don't approve of it but I understand making fun of something people choose to do, they caused their fate. Making fun of someone because of something they were born as is just f**king wrong. Trash talk is apart of sports...I understand that, but there has to be a limit in what's fair and what's not. In the end, it's just a sport, if you have to resort to that level of discrimination to beat me...pick a different hobby. How pathetic must your life be that calling me a terrorist is your way of getting me to play worse. News flash...you've tried for three years, it's not working. All you do is make me more angry and focused. I guess I should thank you though, you're all motivating me beyond what I thought possible. Scratch what I said about racism then...sure you're a waste of life but you're making me better and for that I'm happy about your contribution.
