Summer Reading a National Tragedy
In this article “Summer Reading a National Tragedy” Elena N talks about why she likes reading but not summer reading because she can not choose the books she wants to read. She has to read the books her teachers assign.
Summer reading has never been fun for me but this year it has not been as bad as usual. This is why I can relate to this except the part about not picking your own books. I have started to realizes how lucky I am to have the choice of reading my own book. I like how I have became a better reader, student, and person just by reading more books. I feel the same way as this writer. I hope I can “Explore new books” like the one I just read.
