What Matters
What matters to me? Lots of things . school, sports, friends, love, my future. The one thing that matters most to me though is the future of other children.Since that age of two months, I have been in the foster care system. A place that no child should ever have to deal with. I dealt with istability, dishonesty, abuse and abandomnet.I fell that after having survived all of theses things, it is my job to go out and pave a better path for kids who might share part of my story. I want to teach them to grow up to be strong and determined.I don't even wish that my life would just change and get better. There is a part of me that appriciates my background, because without it I would not be who I am today. If I could inspire one child to go out and be as determined as I am to make life better not only for myself but for other people. I will feel that I have done my job in this world. That's what matters to me.
