What the United States Flag Stands For

Down many city streets and neighborhoods, in all stadiums and arenas, I see a flag, the American flag. Everybody’s daily reminder of their freedom and their reminder for those who put their life on the line for us.

The flag gets raised and lowered on flag poles across the country across many schools and business parks reminding us of the freedoms we have and how we are so lucky to live where opportunities are endless

Across the world. The flag shows safety and no worry. On the battlefield the flag signals bloodshed, and victory. It shows bloodshed and hardship. Showing history. Through wars like World War one and two, to the Vietnam war, the flag shows dedication to the nation's freedom and its people.

At sports events or large shows, an American flag always glows. Bringing people from all different walks of life together. The one familiar song is sung by an unfamiliar new face each time but feels no different than the times before.
