You Don’t Know MAG
You don’t know it, but
Sometimes I go to a hill that overlooks
The glorious landscape of the city’s lights
For a glimpse of momentary beauty
On the top of everything, I know I can view
An eyeful of the lost elegance of the world’s artistry
An eyeful of the lost Atlantis existing in the human soul.
I take a breath that fills my lungs with cool, refreshing air
If you were to capture this bliss
In the corners of your mind
Or find the true meaning of these words
Then the most you could know
Is nothing.
Nothing at All
For the grace of your existence
Shines through all of this beauty
No words, no thoughts, no experience
Justifies this love that has become of me
For nothing could ever shame the innocence
Of glorifying one of such nature as you
For you are the fine line
Between my eternal rest
And existence in this exaggerated
Depressing morsel of a domain.
For you are the glamour that pauses me to ponder,
Ponder the realization of two becoming one
A single happiness, illuminating the brilliance of a world
Such as ours
