A Poem Is Born MAG
A Poem Is Born
Lightening!
A surge of energy fills my mind
Words swirl hopelessly
Excited with the charge
Of creativity
Music notes and a song
A long lost love recovers
An old friend gives me
Back my dreams
A new friend comes within
The boundaries of my mind
Once set,
Now untied
My voice is silent
Yet my soul is screaming
And yelling
Passionately
All trapped within a face
And a body
And a grade
Future appears in a crystal ball
Shimmering like stars
On a soft, breezy summer evening
I breathe the air deeply,
Hold it there,
And lines spin out,
Chock full of meaning
And my hopes of someday
Just many somedays
Running around,
Wishing to meet some somedays
Trapped staring at a cold screen
Feelingless
A poem is born
Many hours of pain
Arranged in a wonderful order
Apparent to those reading
Lightening!
