my nature habit
My Nature Habit
From a young age, I have had an affinity for nature. As a child, I would explore the campgrounds and forest at Lake Thurmond. As I grew up my passion for the outdoors only intensified. I loved going on my monthly trips to a local nature preserve and spending three-day trips hiking, camping, and rock climbing. It was during one of these trips that I discovered my love for photography. I started taking pictures of the landscapes and wildlife I encountered, capturing the beauty of the natural world in stunning detail.
Despite my photography prowess, I struggle to find direction in my life. I have bounced between jobs, never quite finding my niche. But during my time in high school, I’ve seen it as an opportunity to pursue my passions full-time. I started my photography gigs by taking pictures of friends and family first but I still haven’t gotten over my struggle with anxiety and self-doubt, often feeling like an imposter in the photography world. However, I’m persevering, using my passion for nature as a source of strength and inspiration.
